Our meals are crafted from scratch on premises using local, organic ingredients whenever possible. Preparing food that is healthy, delicious and satisfying is our passion.
Danielle Corellis and Todd Graves, a local couple who for years worked at Cafe Capriccio in Albany, are turning the former Mountain View Brasserie into Modena, a contemporary Italian restaurant.
Corellis, who spent almost 15 years at Capriccio, working private events with owner Jim Rua and as the restaurant’s original pizzaiola when the restaurant installed a pizza oven more than a decade ago, is Modena’s pastry chef. Graves was a chef at Capriccio for seven years and more recently spent seven years at Caffe Italia, also in Albany. He is the new restaurant’s head chef.
The menu will feature meat and produce sourced from local farms when possible, Neapolitan-style pizza and fresh, contemporary Italian dishes.
