Daily We Walk the Windham Path

We are located less than 1/2 mile from town, directly across from The Windham Path, on route 23, on the east side of Windham. Find the Windham Path… and we are across the street. We have 50+ years of dog breeding, training, grooming, and loving care. We host no more than 2 dogs at a time in our home. Pick up and return at the end of your pet’s stay is generally done by you, the owner. If you need our help in coordinating your schedule, just let us know.

During the day, we operate two separate dog runs that are clean, private, secluded, and sheltered. With your (the owner’s) permission, most dog guests will ride around with me in my car as I run my daily errands. My daily Windham Path walk is additional ($5) but very popular.

We love all breeds. We have bred dogs and owned stud dogs. I grew up with Dachshunds. Later on, Airedale Terriers, and then black and chocolate Labs were in our family. We have over 50 years of canine experience. As former breeders of both German Shepherds and Dobermans, we can gently and lovingly build a positive relationship with your pet, whatever the temperament, size or breed.

We enjoy bringing up to 2 dogs into our cabin for the night. Our canine guests are brought in to our “Windham Cabin” home every night. We feed your dog on your requested & regular schedule. We feed the food/diet that you bring to us divided into disposable bags, one for each meal please. Bringing your own dog bowl helps, but is not required. Upon request, we offer indoor crating for your dog in our cabin living room with either open or closed door… at your direction.

Popular ski weekends fill up quickly. The same is true for all holidays and World Cup mountain bike races too. We strongly advise you to make your reservations early (on Rover.com) as we are open all year. Before your appointed reservation, we desire to introduce you and your pet to our home. Therefore it is our desire to arrange a “meet and greet” appointment with you, in our home, prior to your reservation date. At that time, we will talk about our “Safety Plan” and if you want dog walked along “the path.” Additionally I offer grooming on pet stays of 3 days or longer.

Grooming

Need Professional grooming? No problem. Rates vary based upon breed, temperament, and condition of coat. Grooming is very time consuming and available by advance reservation / arrangement only.

Dog Vacation

We offer an amazing “vacation – extended stay paradise” package for your dog. This includes a documented, video recording of outdoor, wilderness footage (activities), including a private vacationing/ play photo shoot. While vacationing, I can also deliver basic, intermediate, or advanced training for your dog. This is all accomplished thru careful communication and advance planning, typically for our New York City customers only.

This is a new and growing aspect of our love for dogs which includes a completely private, remote, fenced, wooded, exercise area, with refreshing and secluded kenneling, and more.
