
Opening in early 2023, Julia’s Local is new restaurant — founded by long-time Catskills resident Julia Joern and Norwegian chef Henning Nordanger — that celebrates American cuisine, with a Scandinavian twist. Inspired by traditions of home cooking gleaned from their own personal stories, as well as those gathered from colleagues and other admired chefs around the world, most of the menu and retail market will be sourced using daily ingredients from the bounty of their own extensive Round Top culinary garden.
