Hiddenview Farm

This meat was not raised in a factory.

Located in the outskirts of the northern Hudson Valley and nestled in the foothills of the Catskill mountains, Hiddenview Farm sits on the top of Indian Ridge, in Greene county, upstate New York. After realizing the lack of accessibility to local, healthy food, and paying top dollar for farm fresh , not so local foods, we decided to raise animals for ourselves. This creative endeavor quickly turned into a passion fueled mission: To construct and create a very healthy living breathing flowing self enclosed ecological farm organism.

With the universe as our guide, we are stewards of the land & Our goal is to provide delicious, nutrient dense foods, promote healthy lifestyles and outdoor creativity, create a community source for connection to the Earth, while enhancing the fertility, diversity and resiliency of the farm ecosystem as a whole. It is a core belief that every animal and plant is a living thing, not just a passive shell that gives and takes nutrients. Restorative grazing methods don’t only foster sustainability, which to us is equal to treading water-they renew, replenish, regenerate-always improving. We are beyond organic, and created our values by addressing the obstacles we faced when trying to buy healthy food- purposely misleading labels, high pricing , lack of availability and inconvenience, the Real Food Revolution began. Transparency from seed to table, affordable pricing, year round availability and convenience are values we stand behind.

The dramatic increase in diseases from heart disease to cancers–pesticides, overuse of antibiotics and vaccines, factory farms in general are to blame in most cases, and this is proven. Ignorance is bliss for only so long. You vote with your wallet every time you shop, and you vote with your fork every time you eat. In order to change the world, we must start in our own community. By supporting Hiddenview Farm, your value spent is re-invested back into the local community through many avenues, in turn helping to keep our community strong. Transparency in all areas of the path from farm to plate is our standard. While earning and maintaining trust as your farmer is our mission, allowing our people to have access to real food is our core purpose in the center of all the enterprises we plan to keep creating, for ourselves, our children, and all of our neighbors in our community.
